Brenda Irene (Brown) Myers

Mrs. Brenda Irene Brown Myers, 72, of Statesville, passed away Friday, March 13, 2015, at the Bridges of Statesville. Mrs. Myers was born January 19, 1943, in Iredell County and was the daughter of the late William Brown and Irene Benfield Brown.  She attended Iredell County schools and was married to James A. Myers, who preceded her in death on September 24, 1999. Mrs. Myers was formerly employed with Bassett Furniture and was a member of Northview Freewill Baptist Church. Left to cherish her memory are two brothers, Fletcher Brown of Statesville and Daniel Brown of Harmony along with two step daughters, Janet Pestlin (Richard) and Vonda Warren (Lanny), both of Statesville.  She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Mrs. Myers will be conducted 3:00 pm Sunday, March 22, 2015, in Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Travis Brown officiating.
