Bonita Stevens

Bonita Jane Stevens, 73 of Lexington, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at her home on Thursday, September 12, 2024. Bonita was Born on February 4,1951 in Durham, NC to the late Jesse Sr. and Vallie Forrest. She was the oldest of 3 children, both siblings precede her in death. Kathy and Vernon (brother)Jr Forrest.

Bonita was married to the late Jerry Stevens.

Bonita led a fulfilling life as a hair stylist for 20 years. She loved spending time with her family. Always laughing and wearing a smile on her face. The biggest blessing she received was in helping others in need.

Loving remembered by her two daughters & spouses: Shavonne Dunn (Andy), and Michelle Myers (Wayne), along with grandchildren: Joyanna, Savannah, Elizabeth, (Kate) Taylor, Chasity, Megan (Josh), Jake (Tori), Jessie (Nathan).

great grands: Alora, Liana, Colstyn, Madelyn, Kaylee, Jackson, Maggie.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
