Billy Young

Billy Crawford Young, Sr., 81 of Lexington, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024, at High Point Regional Medical Center. Billy was born February 4, 1943, in Davidson County to Hampton and Dorthea Young. He loved so much about life including music, golf and sports of all kinds. Billy was preceded in death by his parents, his sons, Billy Young, Jr., Bentley Young and Edward Taylor, son in law, Keith William and sister, Nona Harris. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Debra Luckey (Joseph) of Lexington, NC, Tammy Byrd (Jeff) of Atlanta, Ga, Priscilla William of Atlanta, Ga, Alicia Young of Stone Mountain, Ga, Julie Taylor Hart of Thomasville, NC, and Teresa Mclendon of Winston Salem, NC. Also several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Mr. Young will be held at 12pm, on Saturday, July 13 at Wellspring Community Church, 600 May Road, Thomasville, NC 27360 with Pastor Jan Harris officiating.
