Billy "Joe" Wallace

Billy Joe Wallace, 81, of Statesville, died Friday, February 22, 2019 at Maple Leaf Health Care.
He was born September 24, 1937 to the late Marvin Edward and Alene Seller Wallace. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Wallace and a sister-in-law, Elsie Wallace Moore.
Mr. Wallace had attended Troutman schools and was a retired sander with Troutman Chair Company. He was a member of Fern Hill Baptist Church.
He is survived by a brother, Larry Wallace (Pat), 4 nieces, Sandie Ellis (Steve), Becky Owens (Dwayne), Sabrina Baity (James), Kelli McCoy (Brent), 2 nephews, Scott Wallace (Nicole), Steve Wallace (Lori Ann), and a number of cousins.
A Graveside service will be held Friday, March 1, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Fern Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jesse Stroud officiating.
