Betty Lippard Holdsclaw

Mrs. Betty Lippard Holdsclaw, 83, of Statesville, died Tuesday August 15, 2017 at the Gordon Hospice House. Born in Iredell County on December 5, 1933, she was a daughter of the late John Hobbs Lippard and Estelle Robbins Lippard. Betty retired from the Quality Control Dept. of Kewaunee Scientific.  She loved her Lord, her family, flowers, cooking and feeding people. Survivors include her husband, Billy Holdsclaw, sons: Roy Crouch, Jr., Ronnie Crouch (Vickie), Steve Crouch (Jackie) and Victor Crouch, all of Statesville and a daughter, Cammie Moose (Billy) of Troutman. Also surviving are a brother, Danny Mack Lippard of Troutman and sisters: Velma Kelly of Beaufort, S.C. and Vivian Eades of Statesville. Additional survivors include grandchildren: BobbiJo Crouch, Chris Crouch, Daryl Crouch, Amanda Conley, Tyler Crouch, Brandi and Kristi Crouch, John Henry Hinceman, Chasity Adams, and a step granddaughter, Shannon Griffith, along with 12 great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Thursday at New Perth A.R.P. Church with Rev. Dan Hazen and Rev. Charles Williams officiating. She will lie in state in the sanctuary and the family will receive friends from 9:30 until 11:00 in the church parlor prior to the service. Burial will follow at Iredell Memorial Gardens.
