Betty (Drye) Crawford

Betty Drye Crawford, 72, of Statesville, passed away, Friday, February 10, 2017 at Sherrills Ford Hospice House. Mrs. Crawford was born March 11, 1944 in Iredell County and was the daughter of the late Joseph Albert Drye and Ethel Lucille White Drye. She was a graduate of Iredell County schools and was retired from Orbit Furniture. She is survived by three children, Terresa Henderson of Statesville, Billy Crawford of Statesville, Tina Johnson of Claremont, 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and one brother, Jerry A. Drye of Stony Point. She was preceded in death by one grandson and one granddaughter. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 15, 2017 in the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday from 1:00-2:00 pm before the service. Burial will follow in the Midway Methodist Church Cemetery.
