Barry Paslay

Mr. Henry Burnette "Barry" Paslay, Jr., 39, of Statesville, passed away, Tuesday, April 12, 2011 in Statesville. Mr. Paslay was born Nov. 14, 1971 in Memphis, TN and was the son of Henry Burnette Paslay, Sr. and Nancy Lane Paslay, who survive of the home. He was a graduate of West Iredell High School and attended N.C. State University. He was a computer programmer for BB&T before going on disability and attended Grace Covenant Church of Statesville. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two daughters, Katherine Gail Paslay, Sarah Beth Paslay, both of the home, one brother, Bryan Paslay and wife, Sarah of Statesville, one niece, Caroline Elizabeth Paslay and one nephew, Bryson Scott Paslay both of Statesville. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2011 in the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Greg Laskowski officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at Nicholson Funeral Home.
