Barbara 'Bobbie' Joyce Taylor

March 13, 1942 — October 27, 2020

Mrs. Barbara (Bobbie) Curtis Taylor, 78 of Brookstone Retirement Center completed her journey home to live with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 from High Point Regional Hospital. Bobbie was born on March 13, 1942 in Davidson County to Robert Eugene Curtis and E. Inez Thomason Curtis. Those left to cherish Bobbie are her son Robert Louis James and his wife Donna. Her beautiful granddaughters Heather Ferguson (Tony) and Jennifer Pegram (Seth); her great grandchildren Levi Ferguson, Owen Pegram, Luke Pegram, Noah Pegram, Wade Pegram, and Eleanor (Ellie) Ferguson. She is also survived by her sister Vickie James, her niece Wendy James Hepler and nephew Gene James. Bobbie loved to listen to our Pastor, Sam Harvey of Christian Baptist Church, most Tuesdays. While COVID kept him from delivering the gospel inside on most of those Tuesdays; he was a faithful Shephard ensuring that he shared the gospel with the residents and staff of Brookstone Retirement Center through an open patio door as he preached from outside. Our family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Brookstone Retirement Center for loving and caring for Bobbie like she was part of their family. There are no memorial services planned at this time. We hold our fondest memories of Bobbie close to our hearts. Until we meet again.
