Ashley Nicole Murphy

Ashley Nicole Murphy, age 30, of Lexington, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at Atrium Health-Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Born on November 28, 1992, in Lexington (Davidson County), NC, she was the daughter of Jeremy Monroe Gober and Tonia Renea Torrence Baldwin.
Ashley was unique and was definitely a one-of-a-kind person. She was spontaneous and had a “heart of gold.” She loved and cherished her family, but most importantly, she loved her daughter, Jasmine. She also loved her “fur baby,” Diamond. Ashley would say, “always remember, it ain’t no law like Murphy’s Law.”
Ashley was preceded in death by her grandfather, Jerry Gober; and her cousin, Austin Chatterton.
Left to cherish Ashley’s memory, include her daughter, Jasmine Gober; her parents, Tonia Baldwin (Brad), and Jeremy Gober; brothers, Patrick Gober and Justin Gober (Linda); grandparents, Buddy and Vicky Torrence; aunt, Bambi Torrence-Toney (Edwin); uncles, Michael Torrence (Tabitha), Jerry Torrence, and Shannon Torrence (Ashley); and numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces who loved her deeply.
A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held by her family at on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 4:00pm at House of Freedom. Nicholson Funerals & Cremations, Thomasville Chapel has the honor of serving Ashley’s family.
