Mr. Arnold Joel Anderson

January 20, 1944 — October 5, 2022

Arnold “Arnie” Joel Anderson, age 78, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at Mitchell Mack Hospice House in Mooresville, NC. Born on January 20, 1944, in De Moines, Iowa, he was the son of the late Richard and Gladys Anderson.

Arnie retired from ADT in August 2011 as a Service Tech. During retirement his time was spent traveling, spending several winters in Florida at the beach. Arnie was an avid photographer, taking many pictures. He coached his daughter’s soccer team, then later he became a soccer referee.
In addition to his parents, Robert and Gladys Anderson, he was preceded in death by his sister, Janice.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 23 years, Linda; his three daughters; Karen, Lavone and Barbara (Bryan) two stepdaughters, Cheri (Bob) and Kelli (Scott) and one stepson Tim (Kim); seven grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one brother, Wayne; and 2 sisters, Annette and Charlotte.

The family would like to thank Hospice & Palliative Care and Iredell County for their great care of Mr. Anderson.

A Celebration of Arnold’s Life will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2022, at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Nicholson Funeral Home.
