GREENSBORO-Mr. Arin "Pollo" Mauricio Escoto, 22, of Greensboro, NC passed away unexpectedly on May 24, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Escoto was born in Greensboro, NC on April 21, 1999 to Jose Mauricio Escoto and Carol Elizabeth Walker. He was a cook and cashier at Country Barbeque and he loved working on cars and motorcycles. He could take them apart and put them back together again. He loved riding motorcycles, playing basketball, and playing his playstation. As a last act of kindness, Mr. Escoto was an organ donor. Mr. Escoto was preceded in death by his sister Juana Morphies. Left to cherish his memories are his mother Carol Elizabeth Walker of Greensboro, father Jose Mauricio Escoto (Dilcia) of Summerfield, fiancé Cheyenne "Chey" Summey of Greensboro, son Arin "AJ" Mauricio Escoto, Jr. of Greensboro, three sisters Kimberly Escoto of Summerfield, Dayana Escoto of Summerfield, and Reva Davis of High Point, five brothers Alexander Rivera (Jensen) of Madison, Coty Salmeron (Kimberly) of Gibsonville, Junior Rodriguez of Greensboro, Axel Escoto of Summerfield, and Qua-Shawn Pernell of Greensboro, nieces Melina, Aliyah, Anaya, Emonie, and Baby Rivera, nephews Kason, Dylan, and Asher, and canine child Luna. Funeral services for Mr. Escoto are scheduled for 1:30 pm Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Kernersville Wesleyan Church in Kernersville, NC. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm prior to the service. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Greensboro, NC.
