Anthony Lloyd (Tony) Pike

Anthony “Tony” Lloyd Pike, 41, of Statesville, died unexpectedly on Thursday, January 12, 2017. Tony was born in Pulaski County, AR on January 29, 1975, and was the son of Rose Etta Crow Winkler and the late Steven Jay Pike.  He was a graduate of J.A. Fair High School in AR.  He was employed in the maintenance department at J.C. Penney Distribution for 15 years. Tony loved the outdoors and all that went with it.  He went camping as often as he could and was very skilled in building camp fires.  He also loved to fish and was everybody’s fishing companion.  Tony enjoyed hunting and was especially fond of hunting turkey, deer, coyote and squirrel.  He had a passion for playing golf and as for sports, nothing compared to the Arkansas Razorbacks and Dallas Cowboys.  Though he loved life, still nothing compared to his children M’Kennah and Dylan Pike and longtime companion, Yvonne Robinson.  They were his life.  Tony will be missed by all who knew him. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by Yvonne’s father, Gary Conley. Along with his mother Rose, children, M’Kennah and Dylan Pike, and longtime companion Yvonne, he is survived by his children’s mother and his former wife, Nichole Shoemaker and Yvonne’s children, Tyler Robinson and Brandon Robinson (Amber), all of Statesville.  He is also survived by two brothers, Stan Pike and Pat Pike (Krista), both of Little Rock, AR and one sister, Terri Lynn Johnson (Kent) of Monticello, AR.  Tony is also survived by Yvonne’s mother, Jeanette Conley along with nieces, Katie Pike, Kayla Griffin, Rachel Campbell, Caitlin Campbell, Ansley Pike, and Deandrea Shoemaker and nephews, Steven Pike, Josh Johnson, Hunter Johnson, and Gunner Shoemaker along with a number of extended family and friends.  Funeral services for Tony Pike will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday, January 16, 2017, at Bright Light Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Fox officiating.  Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.  The family will visit with friends Sunday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Nicholson Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to a scholarship fund for the children of Tony Pike to be established and will be available on the nicholsonfunerals.com website when available. Nicholson Funeral Home is serving the family of Tony Pike.
