Ann Marie Nagl

Ann Marie Crayton Nagl, 85, of Statesville, died peacefully at home on Sunday, March 10, 2019. She was born October 9, 1933 in Raleigh NC to the late Delma Cresley Crayton and Leona Snotherly Crayton.
Ann graduated from Thomasville High School in Thomasville NC. On June 4, 1955 she married Karl John Nagl who preceded her in death in 1997. She was also preceded in death by 2 sisters; Evelyn Hall and Betty Maffatore, and a brother; Jack Crayton.
Ann loved music and her church where she enjoyed singing in the choir and working with the Altar Guild. The most precious thing in her life was her family and spending time with her girls.
Left to cherish her memory are 3 daughters; Ann McGuire (Bruce), of Statesville, Mary Cali (Steve), of Charlotte and Debra LaGrange (George), of Pennsylvania, 4 grandchildren; Steven Mark Cali, and Aaron Karl LaGrange, Michael McGuire, and Kelly Quinn, and 3 great-grandchildren; Emily, Caitlin and Kevin Quinn.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 11:00 am at St. Philip Catholic Church with Father Thomas Kessler officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Nicholson Funeral Home from 2:00 until 4:00pm and from 6:00 until 8:00pm. Mrs. Nagl will be buried at a later date in Pearl River, New York.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Hospice of Iredell County, 2347 Simonton Rd., Statesville, NC 28625 or to St. Philip Catholic Church, Forward with Christ Building Campaign, 525 Camden Dr., Statesville, NC 28677. Nicholson Funeral Home is serving the Nagl family.
