Andrew Jackson “Jack” Bass,84, of Harmony, died Thursday, March 14, 2109, at his home. He was born in Iredell County on March 23, 1934 to the late William P. Bass and Junie Speaks Bass. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Claudia Ann Queen Bass and 2 grandsons; Lee Waddell and Randall Moose.
Jack was retired from Statesville Chair and was a member of Sandy Ridge Methodist Church.
Survivors include 2 daughters; Deborah (John) Miller, Patricia Pipkin, and 1 step-son; Stephen Bennett, 6 grandchildren; Angela (Mark) Faircloth, Adam (Erica) Moose, Carol Moose, Matthew Moose, Amanda Pearce, Samantha Drum, and 12 great-grandchildren; Julie Barnette, Grace Houston, Montana Barnette, Jereamiah Barnette, Chris Barnette, Paige Williams, Payton Williams, Reece Faircloth, Adriana Faircloth, Carson Moose, Emily Moose, and Serenity Moose.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 18, 2019 at 1:00pm at Clear Vision Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Default and Rev. Marsha Joyner officiating. Burial will follow in the Sandy Ridge Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 17, 2109 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Nicholson Funeral Home.
