Alfred Carroll Pierce

Alfred Carroll Pierce, 64, of Statesville, died Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at the Gordon Hospice House. Born August 10, 1952 in Iredell County, he was a beloved son of the late Alfred Pierce and Rachel Starrette Pierce Lambert (Ray) who survives. He was an owner/operator truck driver and worked with Clark-Lundy Trucking. He was a graduate of Statesville High School.  He was also a veteran of the U. S. Army. He was preceded in death by brothers Rick and Michael Pierce Survivors include a son, Chris Pierce (Nila), a daughter, Tina Dowe (Astron), grandchildren: JoAnnah Pierce ((Justin Curtis Stevenson), Ashley Riffe (Jamael Moore), C.J. Pierce, Brittany DeAnn Ikner, Samantha Lynn Ikner, Destinee J’Nai Dowe and Henry Rivers Dowe, III. Also surviving are 5 great grandchildren, Ezekiel Curtis Stevenson, Carter William Moore, Alexis Jade Nicholson, Izzybela Grace Nicholson and Aubree Sky Moore. Additional survivors include brothers: Kenneth, Donald and Timothy Pierce. Private family services will be held at a later date. Burial will be in the Salisbury National Cemetery.
