Alana Cerrone Long

Alana Diane Cerrone Long, 64, of Statesville, died Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at the Gordon Hospice House.
She was born in New York City to the late Armond Cerrone and Anne Boris Cerrone.
Alana was a member of St. Philip The Apostle Church. She graduated with a Master’s Degree and was an IT Manager for IBM. She had worked for Long Road Racing for 3 years and truly enjoyed working with friends, family and customers there. Alana enjoyed gardening, but most of all she loved her family.
She is survived by her husband, Glenn, 2 sons; Thomas Long (Kara) of Rock Hill, SC, Chris Long (Liz) of Huntersville, a grandson; Camden Long, and a brother; Richard Cerrone (Mary Jane).
A funeral mass for Alana will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 11:00am at St. Philip Church, with Father Thomas Kessler officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Monday evening, April 15, 2019 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Nicholson Funeral Home.
