Mrs. Addie Mae White Taylor, 81, of Statesville, died Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte. Born in Marlboro County, S.C. on September 3, 1935, she was a daughter of the late H. L. White and Ethel Emma Elizabeth Richardson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Homer, Carson and H.L. White, Jr. On May 20, 1953 she married her husband of 64 years Howard Taylor who survives. Mrs. Taylor was a member of the Church Of God Of Prophecy and attended Landmark Church Of God. She was an avid cook and homemaker, a people person and loved her family, especially her grandchildren, dearly. She enjoyed telling family history stories and family vacations. She was a retired supervisor in the kitchen at Davis Regional Medical Center and was Secretary of Taylor Refrigeration from 1976 until 2016. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her loving children: Sharon Long (Bill), Micheal Taylor (Wanda), Dale Taylor (Teresa), Ronnie Taylor (Jayne), Meshelle Taylor Dagenhart (Eric), Star Taylor Bradford (Keith) and Rhonda Taylor. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren along with a sister, Ruthie Wood (A.L.) Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Landmark Church Of God with Rev. Kenneth Hudson and Rev. B. N. Black officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
